Disney Day ✨

November 18th was Mickey Mouse's birthday!  We could wear anything Disney themed like pajamas and costumes. This was really fun because Mrs. Cheverie was wearing a Mickey Mouse onesie. At the beginning of the day in Mrs. Cheverie’s classroom we read a paragraph about Walt Disney and answered questions on it. When we finished that, we did a virtual Disney tour which had a roller coaster and a walk down main street in Disney World.

Then after lunch we came back to Ms. Mountain’s classroom and did our next thing for Mickey! For this activity we had $250 to spend on Mickey fromfor his grandmother. We worked with partnersin partners from our sports team. We had to make a list and we had a Disney store to shop at for Mickey. We had 45 minutes to make a shopping list for Mickey's birthday. In science we made Disney parade floats. The fist step was we wrote a letter to Minnie about our float. The second step was to make the float. We had paper and popsicle sticks to make the float out of. The day was amazing. This was by far the best day of the year!!
