🎃The Day That Pumpkins Would Fly 🎃
It was just a normal day but then it was time for science!!! Then Ms Mountain said we were making a catapult because we were learning about energy. Energy falls into two groups: kinetic energy and potential energy. Next the teacher was talking about how to make catapolts. We were split into groups we all worked with partners. The 1st day we had to plan and we had 15 minutes to plan, and start working. We had a set of materials to work with: popsicle sticks, 12 inches of tape, rubber bands, a spoon, and a candy pumpkin. After we built, we tested and we all wanted to eat the pumpkin. Ms Mountain gave us cups and the pumpkin and we tested with our teammates. Then we actually flew it in front of everyone. We had a big competition. We weren't the winners sadly, but it was fun! One group even flew the pumpkin across the room!!! This may have been the best project this school year so far! - By Knox and Ziyad
