Welcome

 Dear 5th Grader,

I hope you have been having a fun filled summer with your family and friends. I can’t wait to meet you and hear all about it! This summer I have been busy working at a summer camp and it has been so fun being outside all day! When I was not at camp, I spent many days swimming, going to the beach, hiking and getting lots of ice cream. I have been lucky enough to go on many adventures to both Cape Cod (my favorite place on earth!) and the White Mountains in New Hampshire! It was awesome going around and exploring new places outside. I found a beautiful new beach to visit at the Cape and went to Mount Washington for the first time!.

I can’t wait for our school year to begin! I have been busy getting ready for an amazing remote start to fifth grade! This will be my first full year at Proctor and I am so excited! Although this school year is a bit different than others, I have everything ready to go! Even though we will not see each other every day in person, we will spend lots of time getting to know each other. I look forward to our zoom meetings to begin!

I hope you all enjoy your last few days of summer. I look forward to meeting you all next week, for a socially distant first day of school! We will start the day with a class zoom at 8:45 ( a zoom link will be sent out soon). There will also be an in-person meeting at Proctor during the school day! I have sent out a Sign-up Genius link in an email to sign you up for a time slot to visit!  This will be a fun way to start off our school year!

See you soon!
