Image
Sixth graders exploring the Orange County zoo at Irvine Regional Park. Today we investigated how humans can leave both a positive and negative impact on our local ecosystems. In the OC zoo we met some native animals that live in Orange County like the mountain lion! Mountains lions can be found in the foothill and canyon areas of Orange County and play a major role in our ecosystems.  6th graders observing native rattlesnakes. 6th graders reflecting on the human impacts we observed  at the zoo.
